 Dr. Denardo Dunham is a Board Certified Foot Surgeon and a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine, and the American Academy of Wound Management. He has been practicing in the Greater New Orleans Area for the past 12 years, providing quality foot care to his patients.
Dr. Dunham is a 1988 graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his DPM degree. In 1999 he went on to obtain his MBA degree at the University of New Orleans. Dr. Dunham also did Master's work in Microbiology at Virginia State University from 1982 to 1984. St. Paul's College (Lawrenceville, VA) is where Dr. Dunham received his B.S. in Biology in 1982. Soon after completion of his residency program in Detroit, MI., Dr. Dunham moved to New Orleans and began his private practice in 1990.
All phases of podiatric medicine are practiced by Dr. Dunham and his associates at Premier Foot Specialists including: medical, and surgical foot care of all foot deformities, diabetic foot care including limb salvage techniques, reconstructive foot surgery, management of the arthritic foot, geriatric and pediatric foot care, trauma and sports medicine.
Some of Dr. Dunham's teaching and clinical appointments include: Residency Director, Lakeland Medical Center (New Orleans, LA); Clinical Faculty, Tulane University Hospital & Clinic - Department of Endocrinology; Clinical Faculty, LSU School of Medicine - Director, Diabetic Foot Clinics at Medical Center of Louisiana (Charity & University Hospital Campuses). Dr. Dunham also has Clinical Appointments as Adjunct Professor at the following Colleges of Podiatric Medicine: Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery @ the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (Des Moines, IA), Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Barry University Scholl of Podiatric Medicine, and The California College of Podiatric Medicine, and Bryman College (Harahan, LA) - Board of Advisors.
Dr. Dunham is currently on staff at some of the most prestigious hospitals in the Metropolitan area. They include: Lakeland Medical Center, Tulane University Hospital & Clinic, Medical Center of Louisiana @ New Orleans, Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital, Memorial Medical Center, Meadowcrest Hospital, LakeForest Surgical Center, and St. Claude Medical Center.
Among some of Dr. Dunham's Professional Affiliations are: The National Podiatric Medical Association, New Orleans Medical Association, Pedorthic Foot Association, The National Black MBA Association, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Dr. Dunham is often asked to speak as guest lecturer at various national medical conferences. He enjoys playing tennis, golf, collecting artwork, listening to contemporary Jazz. Dr. Dunham currently resides in New Orleans with his wife and two children.
